There's a lot that need to be done to plant a church. We've broken everything down into Phases, Milestones and Tasks. There are six phases:
Milestones are collections of related tasks that are typically accomplished in sequence but at the same time as tasks from other milestones. For example:
Colors are used throughout PlanterPlan as an indicator of task status. They are:
To change when a task is marked as "Current", click project, select preferences, and then change the appropriate setting.
You can grant access to your coach, management team, staff, and volunteers by selecting "Manage Team" from the Projects menu. The system will search to see if they are an existing user before creating a new account. Please be sure to ask the person the email address they used to register if they already have an account.
If your launch date changes you may recalculate the start and due dates for all the tasks in your project which are not marked completed. Realize that moving the date earlier may make it more difficult to complete the remaining tasks. We recommend you not recalculate due dates when delaying launch unless the delay will be more than 3 weeks. This will encourage you to complete tasks "early" to provide additional time at the end to meet with people in your community and your leaders.
PlanterPlan does not allow a full export of content. You can select "Export" from the project menu to export a list of the tasks as well as their start dates, due dates and statuses. You can then import this list into whatever calendar/scheduling tool you would like. To access the task descriptions or update tasks you will have to use PlanterPlan.
By default we give you all the content for phase 1 and all the tasks you typically need through launch. By upgrading, you get access to detailed descriptions and actions plus our full library of resources. The money helps us keep these resources and content up-to-date to help you plant an amazing church!
